We're the Buffalo Jump Canyon Ranch, exclusive outfitters to Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park, one of the most awe inspiring secrets in Southern Alberta, and it's located right next door!

Emerging surprisingly from the flat fields, the canyon's breathtaking scenery ranges from peaceful forest to rugged badlands.

Of course, the best way to experience the beauty and changing moods of the valley is from the back of a surefooted and friendly animal - mule, donkey or horse - led by one of our experienced trail guides.

We’ll be happy to match an animal and trail to your level of experience or sense of adventure, from relaxing to challenging, from one hour to all day. Or you may prefer a wagon (or sleigh) as your means of transportation in viewing the valley.

When the day is over, we welcome you to stay in our overnight campground. With over a dozen sites, we can suit groups large or small. We also have a camp kitchen, the perfect place to swap stories or sing cowboy songs at the end of a long day on the trail.
